With LotLogix, the intention is to redefine the process of preliminary studies for subdivision development, by leveraging innovative generative methodologies. The script will integrate generative design algorithms, zoning compliance checks, and construction cost estimation tools to provide developers with a comprehensive solution for optimizing land utilization, maximizing profitability, and fostering the creation of vibrant, sustainable communities. By streamlining the planning and design phases. This script will allow us to make informed decisions, mitigate risks, and unlock the full potential of every project. LotLogix script was used for several ongoing project; Blue Springs Affordable Housing, West Allen Housing Redevelopment, and Main Street Silos.
Here we have made a proposal for a mixed-use residential development for the growing housing demands presented by medical district. This new development will include various housing typologies for mixed-income residential blocks, along with some commercial and medical developments to unite the JPS medical district, Main Street (to the East) and the area south of Allen.
The resulting layout was determined using LotLogix, a custom script to maximize usable sf of Speculative housing properties, with less emphasis on diversity of building stock to allow more green space for the community
In this example different constraints for building typologies were established:
-Comm. Mixed- Max FAR 40%, 5,000-30,000 sf, 5 Stories max
-Res. Row Homes - Max FAR 50%, 2,000-3,000 sf, 3 Stories max
-Res. Townhomes - Max FAR 75%, 2,000-3,000 sf, 4 Stories max
-Res. Duplex - Max FAR 75%, 2,000-3,000 sf, 3 Stories max
-Bus. Medical - Max FAR 35%, 2,000-10,000 sf, 3 Stories max
