Conceptual renders of the boulevard along Hemphill (Left) and Main Street (Right)

A new improvement plan for Vickery Blvd was proposed, making it  the new introduction to the Near Southside of Fort Worth. This new scenic boulevard will extend from I-30 to the east and north, to I-35 on the west. The main objective is to define a new urban facade with new retail, housing, and hotels, transforming the existing boulevard by integrating landscape with pedestrian-oriented streetscapes.
This masterplan will focus on turning key area groups allowing for mixed-use zoning. Currently the building stock is underutilized, falling in disrepair, or they are empty, brown sites. Working with a private investment group and the city of Fort Worth, we put together this proposal. A new scenic corridor along vickery will be at the center of the revitalization efforts, focusing on increased walkability, tree canopies, crosswalks, street light improvements and bicycle lanes
